Color & Font Basics
Every Nordax-built brand comes with an intentional color palette and carefully chosen fonts to ensure consistency across platforms — web, print, ads, and merch. Here’s how to make sure you’re using them right.
Brand Colors
You’ll receive your official colors as HEX codes (for web) and sometimes as RGB/CMYK (for print). These are the exact color values we use on your site and in your graphics.
What We Typically Provide:
- Primary Color: Your core brand color
- Secondary Color(s): Accents that pair well with your primary
- Neutral Color(s): Backgrounds, text, and support tones
You can drop HEX codes directly into design tools like Canva, Figma, or website builders to stay on brand.
Fonts & Typography
If we included brand fonts in your package, we’ll send:
- The font files (usually .ttf or .otf)
- A PDF or image showing the hierarchy (headlines, subheads, body text)
- Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts links if applicable
Font Usage Tips:
- Headlines should use your main font, bold and eye-catching
- Body Text should be easy to read and consistent
- Avoid mixing in off-brand fonts unless discussed
If your fonts aren’t installing right, just reach out. We’ll walk you through or send an alternate format.
Staying Consistent
Color and font use is a huge part of how your brand is remembered. If you’re working with outside designers, just send them your brand folder and ask them to stick to what we provided. If they have questions, we’re happy to collaborate.
