Logo Folder Explained
Your logo folder includes every version of your logo you might need — whether you’re printing business cards, uploading to social media, or adding it to your website.
What’s Inside
Here’s what you’ll typically find in your folder:
- Full Logo – Your main logo in full color and black & white
- Alt Versions – Stacked, horizontal, icon-only, etc.
- File Formats – Usually includes:
- .PNG – Transparent background (great for web)
- .JPG – Standard white background (for basic uploads)
- .SVG – Scalable for web or screen (small file size)
- .PDF / .EPS – For printing and embroidery (vector)
💡
Tip
If you see a file ending in .ai
, .eps
, or .svg
, that’s a vector file — it can be resized forever without getting blurry.
Which File Should I Use?
Here’s a quick cheat sheet:
Use Case | Best File Type |
---|---|
Website / Social Media | .PNG or .SVG |
Print / Embroidery | .PDF or .EPS |
Microsoft Office Docs | .JPG |
T-shirts / Merch | .SVG , .AI , .EPS |
Signs / Large Format | .EPS or .PDF |
Keep Things Intact
Please avoid:
- Renaming or moving files inside the folder
- Editing vector files unless you’re working with a designer
- Re-exporting low-res versions and uploading those to print platforms
If you ever lose your logo folder, we can re-send it — but it may not include any newer updates unless we’ve been working with you ongoing.
